Joseph "Joey" Pearson was born and raised in the Evansville / Newburgh area.  He graduated from Castle High School in Newburgh in 2008.  He began attending church at age 16 and was saved shortly after on August 27, 2006.  He has previously served at Maranatha Baptist Church as the youth director and an office administrator.  He received his bachelor's degree in Theology from Southern Indiana Baptist College in May 2014. He has been our pastor since January 2017. Bro. Joey and his wife, Laura, count it an honor to serve alongside the people of MBC.   ​
